Betty Gundersen Studio of Dance is not just a studio; it’s home. It’s where my oldest daughter made her first friend. It’s the first place my youngest daughter went after she was born at just two weeks old. When I think of Betty Gundersen’s, I am reminded that this is a place where I go to get advice from other moms, to vent about my day; it’s a space where my children and I can be our authentic selves because we are surrounded by people who are our family. My oldest started dancing when she was a month shy of being 2½, now she’s a month away from turning 11, is on the Dance Competition team for the second year, and spends approximately 10-12hrs at the studio a week, and I am still trying to drag her out of there. My youngest is taking five classes a week and is the Dance Competition team’s biggest mascot, begging to go to every competition to cheer on her sister. We spend most of our time at the studio, and it still isn’t enough because Betty Gundersen Studio of Dance is our happy place; it’s home and is where our hearts are.
