Tuition Details and Fees
- All monthly tuition payments are to be paid in full at the first lesson of the month. Tuition is payable by cash, check, or credit card (please be aware of the 3% convenience fee for credit card payments). Please place your student’s name in the memo portion of your check or on the envelope you place your payment in.
- Payments made after the 15th of the month are subject to a $25 surcharge. Any account 60 days in arrears will require payment in full before student(s) can continue in class. A $30 fee will be added to your account if your check payment isn’t accepted by the bank.
- If paying by credit card there will be a 3% convenience charge applied to each payment.
- Tuition is based on an annual fee and divided into 10 monthly payments September through June. This monthly tuition will remain the same from month to month unless your dancer changes classes. If you decide to withdraw from classes for any reason, you will still be charged until you inform the office of your withdrawal.
- May and June Tuition must be combined and paid no later than June 1.
- In order to receive costumes and perform in the June show, accounts are to be paid in full. Please call the office to arrange a payment plan if you should need one.
- In the case of withdrawal from the studio, the director should be notified immediately. Until such time, the space will be held for the student and the charges invoiced. Any fees in arrears will be assessed.
- There are no pro-rated fees for missed classes or holidays. You may decide to make up your class. (Please refer to attendance policies.) Refunds will not be issued for missed classes due to cancellation or public holiday – where possible, we will endeavour to arrange make-up lessons for classes cancelled by BGSD or will offer an alternative class.
- Family discounts are available for siblings living in the same household. This discount is 10% off monthly tuition for both the 2nd and 3rd child on your family account. Your 4th enrolled student will receive free monthly tuition.
Tuition Fee Structure
Please find below the fee structure for 2024-2025. Monthly tuition is calculated as an hourly rate. Feel free to contact our office staff if you have any fee-related questions.
- You will be sent an e-mail on the 1 st of the month (or close to it) with a tuition statement attached. You will only receive this e-mail if you have a balance due.
- Please note that your balance will look different for October and November in comparison to the other eight months of the dance season. This is explained by the costume deposits that are due in those months. Costume deposits will be added right in with your dancer’s monthly tuition.
